Dr. Shariftabrizi is board-certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, the Board of Nuclear Cardiology, and the Society of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging. He completed a fellowship in PET/CT Imaging at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Nuclear Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Shariftabrizi has extensive expertise in a wide variety of oncologic PET radiotracers. He also specializes in nuclear neurology and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Shariftabrizi is currently an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Iowa. Additionally, he holds faculty appointment at the Department of Radiology, Stony Brook University in New York.
