Dr. Vaishali Lafita is a board-certified diagnostic and musculoskeletal radiologist. She received her medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and completed her surgical internship at Loyola University Medical Center followed by her diagnostic radiology residency. She then completed a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Dr. Lafita has been practicing for over 11 years. She is experienced in reading high-end sports medicine MRI's for professional team athletes such as Chicago Bulls and Chicago Bears as well as Big Ten College student-athletes. She is currently a Diagnostic Radiologist at Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center and a reading radiologist for DocPanel. Her interests include hip, shoulder and knee joints, cartilage imaging, and MSK interventions.
