William B. Morrison, MD, FACR, is Professor and Director of Musculoskeletal Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Morrison has co-authored or co-edited 13 textbooks including Problem Solving in Musculoskeletal Radiology and the reference book Imaging of the Musculoskeletal System. He has also written over 80 book chapters and has published over 160 peer-reviewed research articles.
Dr. Morrison has three patents for interventional radiology medical devices and is co-founder of Trace Orthopedics. He also served on the editorial board for several organizations and publications, including the American Journal of Roentgenology, Radiology and Skeletal Radiology. He is consultant for the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, Sixers and the Pennsylvania Ballet. Dr. Morrison is past president of the Society of Skeletal Radiology, a 2000-member organization that represents musculoskeletal radiology in North America.
